Hard Baits Development

CRANKBAITS, JERKBAITS, SWIMBAITS, MICRO, TOPWATER...

Our design services seamlessly integrate the innovative concepts from our Japanese team with the exquisite manufacturing expertise of our Chinese team, ensuring that every step, from design drawings and 3D models to performance tuning, precisely executes your vision and meets market demands as well as customer expectations.

STEP 1

Consultation

Join us at the onset of the hard bait design process for a focused consultation.

We'll explore the aesthetics, performance, and budget of your bait, focusing on appearance, shape, and dynamics, and we invite you to share the details—such as characteristics, target species, and performance expectations.
This exchange is pivotal in aligning the hard bait's design with your strategic goals, ensuring service that is both effective and cost-efficient.

STEP 2

3D Print Client Vision

Velrifya's designers generate and submit 3D model files for client review and refinement.

We will then 3D print the models and customize accessories such as ballast, wire, and hooks to ensure the final models accurately match client specifications in both form and function.

STEP 3

Action Sample Test

In Velrifya's 7-foot deep water test pool, we conduct meticulous underwater performance evaluations on Action Samples. Adhering to a stringent set of testing standards specifically designed for various types of lures, including operational techniques, rod compatibility, and line materials such as carbon fiber lines, nylon lines, and braided lines, we ensure that the test results accurately reflect real fishing conditions.

STEP 4

Mold Carving & Final Product

We design and carve injection molds to produce the first ABS hard lure prototype.

We assemble the final product, ensuring that the weighting ballast, connectors, and other accessories are perfectly matched, while also guaranteeing that key static performance data such as weight and hardness are flawless.

STEP 5

Dynamic/Outdoor Testing

The final product undergoes rigorous underwater dynamic testing to verify swimming layer, stability of swimming posture, and special action presentations under specified retrieval operations, such as the pause and jerk motion of Jerkbaits.

Additionally, certain hard lures undergo outdoor field testing to assess their performance, such as the obstacle avoidance capabilities of Crankbaits in actual fishing conditions.
